You can save a lot of hassle by planning ahead for your security, fire, CCTV and access contol systems.  Pre-wiring will allow your system to be installed in the least conspicuous way.  It can also provide the most secure method of protection.  A couple of hours of pre-wiring can save quite a few hours down the road.
